Fear is one of the most powerful of human emotions. Through scale, texture, and tone these works portray the trivial and monstrous, personal or universal things that provoke fear. I was also interested in capturing the pace of fear in that sometimes it is quiet and stagnant, sometimes it creeps towards us slowly, and other times it is a numbing shock.
